The 2011 Billboard Music Awards looks set to be a scorcher, with a hot line up having just been announced. Be ready to see amazing performances from a variety of music industry greats from hip hop to country.
Mary J. Blige is teaming up with fellow hip hop legend Lil Wayne for her single â€œSomebody to Love Meâ€ that is sure to burn up the stage. But that is just the beginningâ€¦
Following up, the Far*East Movement takes the stage with One Republicâ€™s Ryan Tedder to perform â€œRocketeerâ€ and Snoop Dogg and the Far*East Movement will be performing â€œIf I Was Youâ€. Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo and Nayer will also perform â€œGive me Everything,â€ at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
This yearâ€™s presenters list reads like a whoâ€™s who of 2011â€™s hottest music industry insiders and performers with Bret Michaels, Randy Jackson, Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, Matthew Morrison, Kelly Rowland, NAS, Rico Rodriguez, Travis Barker and many more on hand to hand out the honors.
Collaborating musical acts Mary J. BeyoncÃ© will receive the 2011 Billboard Millennium Award for her work as an innovative artist who is currently defining her times. Neil Diamond will receive the 2011 Billboard Icon Award to honor an enduring legend in music.
The awards are broadcast live this Sunday, May 22 from 8:00 â€“ 11:00pm ET on the ABC Television Network.
