ABC Leads Network Programming in Week 36

By Rachel Menendez Dancing with the Stars is one of the biggest draw cards having just enjoyed its biggest ever audience for a spring finale.

The latest ratings continue to confirm the dominance of ABC over its rival networks. ABC is now airing seven of the top 20 TV shows in the adults 18-49 years-old bracket, which is more than any other network.

Additionally the network is also delivering two out of the top three most-watched shows overall.

ABC is the most watched network on Mondays over the past 11 weeks – Dancing with the Stars is one of the biggest draw cards having just enjoyed its biggest ever audience for a spring finale.

This is exciting news for those at the helm at ABC since the results mean that it is the first ever show that has been able to outdraw the Tuesday finale of Fox’s American Idol.

The season premiere of The Bachelorette also kept numbers up coming in at number one in its 2-hour time slot in total viewers and young adults.

Other shows in the ABC line up that are drawing impressive audience numbers include The Middle, which is ranked at number 2 behind American Idol at 8pm. Modern Family has also wrapped up the season as the fast growing series on any of the networks.
