The latest installment is The Bachelor Pad sees 18 former participants in The Bachelor or The Bachelorette come together under the one roof. This time they will be competing for half a million dollars and a second shot at love.

Hosted by Chris Harrison (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette), Bachelor Pad returns MONDAY, AUGUST 8 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) with its most controversial cast to date – 18 of the unforgettable characters from the Bachelor franchise, including the ones we love and those we love to hate.

All 18 participants will gather back at the mansion to live together and compete for the prize money and possibly a second chance at love. Cast members include: the infamous wrestler, Justin “Rated R” Rego, Gia Allemand, who’s fresh from a breakup with Wes, and Kasey Kahl, who once professed his love for former Bachelorette Ali by getting a tattoo on his wrist. ABC Helps Stamp Out CyberbullyingThe ABC Family original movie Cyberbully will shine a light on the important 21st century issue of cyberbullying that so many kids now experience when it premieres on July 17.

The two hour original movie will showcase on ABC Family at 8:00pm ET. The movie is part of an initiative in partnership with Seventeen Magazine to put an end to bullying and “Delete Digital Drama.”

Online fun and games turn sour when a teenage girl is digitally harassed in the two-hour ABC Family original movie, Cyberbully, starring Emily Osment (Hannah Montana), Kelly Rowan (The OC) and Kay Panabaker (No Ordinary Family).

Cyberbully is being presented as part of a campaign by ABC Family and Seventeen magazine to bring awareness to the youth issue of digital abuse and bullying. The initiative, Delete Digital Drama, will launch this summer on the network and in the magazine’s August 2011 issue. Read More

By Rachel Menendez State of Georgia is an all-new original, half-hour multi-cam comedy series starring Raven-Symoné as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life personality, and her science geek best friend, Jo (Majandra Delfino), who are trying to make professional and personal headway in New York City.

Summer is just around the corner and that means a whole lot of new shows coming to light. One of the first shows of the blocks is State of Georgia, which lands on screens Wednesday, June 29 at 8:30pm E.T.

Seems like we can’t get enough of vampires at the moment and Disney’s new My Babysitter’s a Vampire, a comedic spin on pop culture vampires and scary movies in general, is a timely newcomer.

The new release movie will premiere on Friday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m., ET/PT on Disney Channel and tells the story of three teens who believe their new babysitter is a real bloodsucking creature of the night — and it’s now up to them to rid their sleepy little town of the menace.

The movie is produced by Fresh TV and distributed by Fremantle Media Enterprises (FME),  and is set to usher in a summer series premiering Monday, June 27 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT).

The films centers around geeky 14-year old Ethan (played by Matthew Knight) who is left to babysit his younger sister, Jane (played by Ella Jonas Farlinger), with his best friend Benny (played by Atticus Mitchell). But after Ethan inadvertently puts Jane in harm’s way, his parents hire a professional sitter, the beautiful yet mysterious 17-year-old Sarah (played by Vanessa Morgan) who, unbeknownst to them, is actually a fledgling vampire. The latest ratings continue to confirm the dominance of ABC over its rival networks. ABC is now airing seven of the top 20 TV shows in the adults 18-49 years-old bracket, which is more than any other network.

Additionally the network is also delivering two out of the top three most-watched shows overall.

Disney/ABC TV Group Signs Multi-Platform Deal with Katie Couric

Disney/ABC have just signed award-winning journalist and best-selling author Katie Couric to host and produce a daily daytime show to premier in 2012.

Katie Couric is a winner of the distinguished duPont, Murrow and Cronkite Awards and numerous Emmy’s. She is already well known to American and international audiences and ABC is looking forward to having her lend her experience to the ABC news team.

The deal will see Couric join the ABC news team as well as hosting and producing a daily hour-long syndicated talk show. It has been announced that the show will premiere in September, 2012. Read More
