By Rachel Menendez One of the new shows to be on the look out for is “101 WAYS TO LEAVE A GAME SHOW”, which premieres on ABC Tuesday June 21.

With the warmer weather just around the corner, that means that one TV season is coming to an end and a new one is beginning with new programs a plenty ready to burst forth from your screen.

From the producers of the hit show “Wipeout” comes “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” which will be hitting screens at 9:00pm on June 21. Based on Endemol’s successful worldwide format, the show will feature contestants competing in one of the most insane game shows in history for a chance to win $50,000.

Contestants will match wits in a series of multiple choice questions, with one contestant being eliminated every round. But unlike any other game show in the world, the eliminated contestant will then be ejected from the show in spectacular fashion, i.e., being flown away strapped to the wing of a biplane, pushed off the top of a moving semi, dragged underwater by a one-ton anchor or yanked off a dock by a speed boat. ABC is having an impressive ratings season with many of its programs wiping out the competition from other channels. Thursdays are making a splash with viewers as last Thursday (May 5) was the biggest audience since March.

Thursday night ratings kick off with “Wipeout” on ABC, up against ratings giant “Idol”. ABC’s Wipeout continues to improve its ratings each week and now comes in a virtual tie for second place with CBS comedies “Big Bang Theory” and “Rules of Engagement”, with “Idol” still rating first. Read More
